Acupuncture Treatment

Yes, I use needles, but I match your comfort level with the size so that they are barely noticeable. I often use "Distal Point" technique, which targets areas that are not in the direct area of pain, making the treatment much easier.

Intake & 1st Treatment - $95

Treatment Sessions - $65

Herbal Consultation

Chinese herbs have amazing healing powers and support a daily regime for well-being, without chemicals or medications that may have adverse side effects. I offer a diverse herbal pharmacy of powders or capsules, which are easy to swallow or make into a tea.

Intake & Herbal Consultation - $65

Herbal Consultations - $25-$35

Herbal Formulas are an additional fee

Cupping / Gua Sha / Moxa

I use these ancient therapies to promote blood and energy flow to different parts of the body, releasing internal toxicity outward through the skin.

Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach out to me through my Contact page with your questions.

  • Many people experiencing acupuncture needles feel very little sensation at all. Sometimes, there may be a dull ache or a slight tingling sensation.
  • There are those practitioners who use higher gauge Chinese needles, which can cause a stinging sensation.
  • I use very fine Japanese needles with a thin gauge for the sensitivity of the person I am treating. Very rarely is there any bruising, and very slight when they do occur.

  • Needle disposal is regulated by US law which states that each needle is used only once and then placed in a hazardous waste container, to be disposed of when full. I completely comply with this practice.

  • For acute conditions, patients can usually see and feel results within one to three treatments.
  • For chronic conditions, it may take more time and treatments to change the underlying pattern to obtain relief.

  • There are few side effects from using acupuncture.
  • If someone is allergic to surgical stainless steel, I have seen small red bumps appear around the inserted needles.
  • If the patient has needle phobia, after one treatment they are usually fine, because of the very fine needles I use, as well as a gentle technique.
  • I also have treated some people who are on a prescribed medication called Coumadin (a blood thinner), with no adverse effects.

  • Make appointments via phone, my business landline (no texting).
